Trust & Transparency

TRANSPARENCY BEFORE TRUST.

Before asking anyone to help build the first Foundation Site, we believe they deserve to understand the structure behind the mission.

This page outlines the governance, financial stewardship, compliance, and documentation that guide Proyecto Legacy as we work to build the bridge after treatment.

Donor questions

THE QUESTIONS WE EXPECT.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Contributions to Proyecto Legacy may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors should consult their tax professional regarding individual circumstances.

What happens if the project doesn’t reach its goal?

Funds raised for the Foundation Site will continue to be used to advance the project, including property acquisition, site development, startup operations, and recovery infrastructure necessary to bring the model to life.

Why housing instead of more treatment?

Treatment helps people get clean. The challenge begins after treatment ends.

Many leave without stable housing, structure, transportation, employment, accountability, or a clear path forward.

Proyecto Legacy exists to bridge that gap.

How will I know my gift made a difference?

Supporters receive updates tied to major project milestones, including property acquisition, development progress, renovations, program launch, and resident enrollment. Every contribution helps build something tangible:

THE FIRST FOUNDATION SITE
